These are 'stopping' trains which serve the smaller stations on the mainline, the South Shire and branchlines. Rolling stock and locomotive combinations are varied and some regional Shire services have a secondary freight capacity.

First class accommodation is not provided on some branchline services. Regular scheduled services run between Michel Delving and West Delving station via the West Delving Link.
